We are looking for a highly organized Paralegal to join an in-office legal team on a contract basis. This role supports two attorneys and offers a mix of litigation-related work and broader legal administrative responsibilities in a collaborative office environment. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, confidence handling court documentation, and the ability to keep multiple matters moving efficiently.

Responsibilities:
• Support two attorneys with day-to-day case coordination, document preparation, and legal administrative tasks.
• Prepare, review, and submit court documents through electronic filing systems while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist with litigation matters by organizing case files, tracking deadlines, and helping manage discovery materials.
• Maintain attorney calendars, monitor important court dates, and coordinate scheduling related to active matters.
• Draft, format, and revise legal correspondence, pleadings, and other case-related documents as needed.
• Provide administrative support such as transcription or dictation assistance when required.
• Communicate with courts, clients, and other legal contacts in a clear and responsive manner.
• Help keep physical and electronic files organized so attorneys can access case information efficiently.• Prior experience working as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant in a law office setting.
• Hands-on experience with electronic court filing and court document submission procedures.
• Familiarity with civil litigation processes, including discovery support and case document management.
• Strong calendar management skills with the ability to track multiple deadlines accurately.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a high level of professionalism.
• Solid organizational abilities with careful attention to detail in legal documentation.
• Ability to work fully on-site in Akron, Ohio and support a fast-paced legal practice.
