Overview
MRI Technologist with radiology specialization needed for a travel assignment in Needham, Massachusetts. Start date 10/05/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,783-$2,882 per week. Guaranteed hours: 72 biweekly. Shift: 8-hour rotating (Day/Evening). Work setting: acute care environment with diagnostic imaging services.

Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations following approved protocols and radiology procedures
- Position patients and equipment, select appropriate coils and sequences, and adjust parameters to optimize image quality
- Verify patient identity, explain procedures, obtain consent as required, and ensure MRI safety for all patients
- Maintain high-quality images with accurate labeling and documentation; communicate findings and workflow with radiologists and team
- Monitor patients during scans, manage safety protocols, and coordinate with care teams to ensure smooth throughput
- Manage an average daily caseload of 30–35 studies (approximately 2 units per day) while maintaining efficiency and image quality

Requirements
- Active ARRT certification in MRI required; ARRT certification verification may be requested
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- Minimum of 2 years of independent MRI experience in an acute care facility
- Ability to work a rotating 8-hour Day/Evening schedule
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with radiology staff and patients
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment and adhering to safety protocols
