Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2210 per week.

Shift: 5:30 PM - 6:00 AM

Experience:

• 3 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• 3 months of travel experience is required.

• 3 months of Epic experience is required with any experience within the last 24 months (2 years).

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live>50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Staffency Program - ThedaCare and no current placement allowed at Program: Staffency Program - ThedaCare.

Additional Details:

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience:Neuro/ortho trauma experience required.Experience with chest tubes, PCA/epidural/Q-ball, CBI, care of post-op neuro trauma surgeries, and care of post-op ortho trauma surgeries (fusions, backs/spines) required.

Special Requests:Missed shifts must be made up within 2 weeks of the absence.If a candidate has NP licensure, ThedaCare will only consider them for an NP role, not a lower position.

Unit Details:Primary cases include trauma surgical, neuro, and ortho.

Shift&Scheduling:Up to every other weekend; open to an every-weekend traveler.Holiday rotation, as needed.No call.

Floating Requirements:Float throughout the facility within skillset and to all ThedaCare facilities.

9 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 3 years

1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months
