IT SPECIALIST

Duties

You will plan, execute, and recommend actions under general direction from program leadership while exercising independent judgment.

You will oversee the day-to-day technical operation, maintenance, and security of the program's IT architecture and cybersecurity strategies, and recommend solutions to program leadership regarding technical and/or organizational challenges.

You will maintain consistent, clear, and continuous communication with all team members and leadership, identifying areas of risk or concern early and often.

You will direct and mentor a diverse team specializing in configuration and data management (CDM), facilities management, network administration, system administration, information security, COMSEC, and high performance computational engineering.

You will plan, prioritize, and coordinate work assignments for the team based on program priorities, and collaborates with other teams to ensure requirements are accurately captured and products are delivered on schedule.

You will promote awareness of security issues among management and ensure sound security principles are reflected in organizations' visions and goals.
