Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring an Anodizing Crew Lead for our client. This job is responsible for leading daily operations of the Racking, Take-Off and Autoload lines. Leads the activities of other employees through technical knowledge, experience and sound decision-making abilities to support product quality and ensure customer satisfaction.

What’s a Typical Day Like?

• Lead daily activities and communications for the departmental production team.
• Train and develop employees on proper job performance and techniques.
• Lead employees in Continuous Improvement Programs.
• Supervise team work output and effectiveness.
• Support daily staffing needs, including vacation and time-off requests.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure production meets throughput and quality standards.
• Monitor and document the progress of new employees and assist with 90-day evaluations.
• Observe and evaluate the performance of production personnel.
• Track and post daily departmental production metrics.
• Ensure adequate inventory of required PPE for production operations.
• Assist with additional departmental duties and projects as needed.

What Are the Requirements of the Job?

• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Minimum 1 year of prior leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a lean manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.
• Ability to work different shifts as required.
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50+ lbs.
• Ability to work around moving equipment and production hazards.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to humidity/wet conditions, extreme noise, fumes, mist, odors, gases, chemicals, and dust.
• Ability to follow required personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
• Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
• Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Communication skills.
