Job Description

The Med/Surg Tele RN will provide care to patients in a telemetry setting. The role may involve floating to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for similar patient populations. Nurses are expected to handle various patient needs while adhering to established protocols and standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a Med/Surg Tele environment.
• Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and telemetry readings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to create and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Respond to patient needs and concerns in a timely manner.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 18 months of recent combined permanent experience in Med/Surg and Telemetry.
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
• Two references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying are required.
