Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse

Schedule

This is a night and day 3x12-hour schedule, rotating weekly between shifts of 7pm-7:30am and 7am-7:30pm.

Job Description

We are seeking a Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care at a large metropolitan hospital. The role includes the potential to float between different units to care for similar patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg Tele unit.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond to changes in their condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 18 months of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg/Tele nursing.
• Recent experience in a Med/Surg Tele unit is required.
• Must hold a current Ohio RN license or a compact state license.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Two references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty are required for submission.
