Job SummaryCo-op, Procurement: January - June 2027 (Onsite) Position OverviewPosition Dates: January 11, 2027 – June 30, 2027 The Procurement Co-op will support Insulet's Direct Materials Procurement organization, partnering with Category Managers and Procurement Specialists across a broad range of direct material categories. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supplier Quality, and Finance, while also interacting with suppliers and contract manufacturers around the world.This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, supply chain operations, cost management, and procurement analytics within a fast-paced and innovative medical device environment. Candidates will develop practical business skills while contributing to projects that directly support Insulet's manufacturing operations and long-term growth objectives.Responsibilities:The candidate will support a variety of procurement, supply chain, and supplier management activities, including:Purchasing and purchase order (PO) supportSupply planning and procurement operations supportSupplier management and supplier performance initiativesProcurement spend data collection, analysis, and reportingCost reduction pipeline tracking and project supportCBOM (Costed Bill of Materials) analysis and costing supportDevelopment of spend analytics, dashboards, and data visualizationsCreation of presentations and business updates for leadership reviews, supplier meetings, and procurement initiativesSupport for sourcing, RFx, and supplier qualification activitiesContinuous process improvement projectsCross-functional project coordination and trackingOther duties and special projects as assignedThe candidate will also gain exposure to Insulet's products, manufacturing processes, and global supply chain operations through on-the-job learning and collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers.Education and ExperienceCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related fieldPrevious co-op, internship, or relevant project experience is preferred but not requiredMinimum GPA of 3.0 preferredPreferred Skills and CompetenciesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required, including data analysis, pivots, lookups, charting, and reportingExperience with Microsoft Power BI or other data visualization tools preferredStrong presentation development and communication skills; experience creating and delivering presentations is highly desirableProficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint requiredFamiliarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and manufacturing environments is a plusStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teamsCustomer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skillsEagerness to learn and contribute in a collaborative, team-oriented environmentThis position is not eligible for employer-based visa sponsorship.
