Contract | 12-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (3x12, 20:00–08:30) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit serving adult and geriatric populations
• Manage a patient assignment within a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio on a 42-bed unit with an average census of 40–42 patients
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Adhere to unit protocols for documentation, medication administration, and patient safety
• Float to sister specialty units and lower-acuity areas as needed
• Participate in holiday coverage as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or a valid Compact license at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing experience
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• CPI certification (Calm Every Storm online version is the only acceptable online vendor)
• NIHSS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations in a high-census environment
• Demonstrated comfort with floating within scope across specialty and lower-acuity units
• Strong telemetry interpretation and clinical assessment skills
