Hospice Care Center Registered NurseSuncoast Hospice, a member of Empath Health is seeking a caring and motivated Hospice Care Center Registered Nurse to work with us at our Care Center in Pinellas and Hillsborough county while providing exceptional care. The Care Center RN provides compassionate hospice care to terminally ill patients and their families in an inpatient setting. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, coordinating care, managing symptoms, providing education and support, and overseeing LPNs and aides. As part of Empath Health, we help those living with advanced illness find comfort, dignity, and meaning, while supporting their families and caregivers with guidance and care every step of the way.What you'll do: is responsible for identifying and coordinating patient/family needs and for providing preventive and supportive care to the terminally ill patient/family unit. Utilizes assessment, intervention and teaching skills to maximize patient comfort and to enhance the quality of life to the patient/family unit. Provides oversight and supervision of the LPN and/or aide for the delivery of patient care in the GIP environment.
