Branch Operations Representative

Bank Teller

Greets customers and other visitors and provides help, direction or assistance as needed. Answers switchboard and transfers calls to appropriate party or takes messages as required. Sorts incoming mail and prepares for delivery to designated departments. Performs basic teller functions such as checking and savings transactions, cash receipts and payment services.

Essential Duties:

Accesses and reviews report from the Bank's OFAC system and FinCEN 314(a) and (b) lists and inquiries; appropriately reports positive hits detected by the Bank's AML or OFAC software system.

Identifies and mitigates potential risk issues against the Bank; assists in providing BSA, AML, OFAC and CIP compliance support; interacts with Bank personnel pertaining to such issues.

Answers telephone, directs, screens calls, takes and relays messages.

Provides information for callers, greets customers and visitors of the Bank. Directs individuals to correct destinations.

Completes visitor registration and identification procedures.

Interfaces regularly with the public, addresses general inquiries.

Provides general clerical and administrative support to the AVP Operations, Teller Supervisor and the Vice President Manager, Operations.

Receives and sorts mail and deliveries.

Responds to inquiries or refers inquiries to the appropriate department or person and exhibits the necessary follow through with customers and/or staff involved.

Receives, processes, and verifies checking and savings deposits.

Issues receipts reflective of account deposits.

Processes temporary check requests and cashier check requests.

Verifies cash bags delivery day, bag information, and courier and bank logs.

Cross trains on teller duties.

Assists with Legal Processes.

Assists with courier routes analysis processing.

Serves as a back up for copier room.

Maintains appropriate logs for mail incoming and outgoing.

Processes outgoing mail with postage and interbranch mail.

Assists with supply orders.

Processes, solves and answers customer transactions, problems or inquiries

Assists with parking validations, ordering, logging and reporting.

Answers telephones, answers questions and directs callers to proper Bank personnel.

Assures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures and all applicable state and federal banking laws, rules and regulations.
