This role is an Onsite Role: Full‑time presence required at our Oxford, NC office. Overview This role will guide, mentor, train, and coach direct reports to be productive, engaged, and quality contributors within their team and the overall functional group. The supervisor will communicate, assign, and monitor department goals, activities, quality of work, and objectives to all team members. The supervisor will also track and report any shortfalls in the progress of the production schedule and plan. Other Critical Responsibilities Lead and monitor daily production for assigned value stream. Supervise and lead the activities associated with filing and assembly by providing work direction, production schedules, training for continuous improvement, and mentoring for assigned associates. Understand and implement the business unit policies and procedures driving associates with an emphasis on safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Monitor compliance to ensure orders are completed on time and desired finished goods inventory levels are maintained. Perform data collection and provide metrics and reporting as required. Communicate daily with Operations manager proactively providing solutions to problems and concerns. Serve as backup to the Operations Manager of the BU as needed. Responsibilities Management Assign associates to the line, communicate necessary pass‑up/pass‑down information for proficient shift handoff, ensure employees are working safely and in compliance with plant safety rules and GMP guidelines. Lead improvement projects and initiatives aligned with business strategic imperatives, including safety, employee morale, quality, waste reduction, direct & indirect labor costs, and OEE. Own line assessment, establish targets, develop glide paths, execute action items, and achieve targeted results. Determine staff and manpower requirements to meet scheduled workloads, ensuring activities across all shifts align with department objectives and policies. Drive continuous improvement, reduce waste, minimize changeovers and machine downtime, and ensure all operation employees have defined job duties and expectations. Take timely corrective action when needed. Interface with functional areas (HR, Quality, WHSE, Planning, Payroll, etc.) and facilitate employee communication meetings as necessary, balancing full‑time and temporary associates. Maintain good associate relations and morale. Attend meetings to support business needs and supervise line performance during NPD trials. Development of People Proactively develop people through cross‑training and projects to make the Oxford site a great place to work. Address all issues, concerns, and disciplinary actions promptly and effectively. Provide challenges, changes, ideas, and suggestions to drive the organization forward. Facilitate and provide training as needed. Ensure all appropriate records are accurate and maintained within guidelines. Enforce plant procedures and policies, driving accountability for non‑compliance. Facilitate employee feedback and annual performance reviews for subordinates. Quality Ensure associates efficiently produce product compliant with Revlon and governmental guidelines and specifications. Investigate and determine root causes and corrective actions for product out of specifications. Collaborate with Quality to resolve problems or issues affecting responsibilities. Maximize line uptime and throughput through efficient use of associates and equipment. Ensure the product is produced at the highest quality standards. Review scrap and potential quality concerns, providing resolution. Review and sign appropriate paperwork, ensuring timely and accurate completion. Partner with quality resources to implement new requirements from new products or regulations. Financial Control labor (direct, indirect, non‑standard) and material performance to meet established standards while minimizing waste. Qualifications Prefer a 4‑year BS or BA in an engineering discipline; other areas of study considered with relevant experience and 5‑7 years of experience required. Proven supervisory track record in a production environment, preferably drug and/or cosmetic. Knowledge of production equipment, safe operating techniques, product capabilities, and troubleshooting methods. Teamwork characteristics with the ability to motivate, communicate, and proactively develop associates. High level of personal commitment, motivation, and leadership intensity in a production environment. Experience in FDA‑GMP environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Legal Requirements Revlon is unable to sponsor or transfer employment visas for this role; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa support. Compensation and Benefits The base pay range for this position is $70,000 – $85,000 per year; base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and geographic location. Certain positions may also be eligible for short‑term incentives as part of total compensation. Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits; company‑paid basic life insurance; short‑term and long‑term disability; supplemental life insurance; flexible spending accounts; critical illness insurance; group legal; identity theft protection; 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan; and other benefits.
