Retail Engagement Specialist

Overview Join 2020 Companies as a Retail Engagement Specialist and play a key role in building retail partner relationships, increasing program visibility, and supporting business growth across your territory. The position is a field‑based role with a focus on merchant engagement and program support. Responsibilities Visit retail locations within your assigned territory and engage with merchants in a professional, relationship‑focused manner. Introduce and educate new merchants on the client’s financial services and program benefits. Provide on‑site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding and confidence. Place and maintain point‑of‑sale materials and branding in‑store. Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems. Work closely with leadership to ensure territory goals and coverage expectations are met. What This Role Looks Like The role is field‑based with daily travel within the assigned territory, typically 22–35 retail visits per day depending on geography and scheduling. You will combine in‑store engagement, driving, and administrative follow‑up as an independent worker supported by leadership and training teams. Benefits No weekends. Six (6) months prior sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience. Demonstrated knowledge of products and services. Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills. Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. at a time. Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced, team environment. Reliable transportation within the assigned territory. Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance; successful Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screening required.
