Schedule: Days or Nights, Compressed Shift Pay Rate: $35-$39, Hourly Location: Santa Clara, California Position Type: Full-Time Benefits: This position is eligible for WGNSTAR’s full benefits package, including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k). Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Safe operation of assigned chemical and/or gas distribution systems, including wearing Self Contained Breathing Apparatus’ and Chemical Resistant PPE. Handling and change-out of gas and chemical containers. Understand how the mechanical portion of the equipment works, identify individual components included in each assembly, and perform non-invasive preventive maintenance. Perform daily rounds, including verifying purifier set points, recording readings, calibrating analytical equipment, completing safety surveys, monitoring inventory levels, and verifying monitoring systems. Primary communication point to the customer. Computer operations to support job functions and customer needs. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of experience in a semiconductor, chemical, or other manufacturing setting Ability to achieve a basic knowledge of Quality Management. Communicate effectively using written and verbal skills. Understanding of safe work practices and experience in lockout/tagout. Physical Effort/Activities: May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds.
