Job Location and Workplace Flexibility Working Location: Pennsylvania, Center Valley (Center Valley, PA) Workplace Flexibility: Hybrid Job Summary The Paralegal I supports attorneys within Olympus Corporation of the Americas, primarily servicing the Medical Systems Group. Responsibilities include transaction negotiation, legal research, contract administration, and compliance support. Job Duties Provide support to attorneys on transactional matters including contract review, revisions, and negotiation assistance. Offer transactional support across diverse practice areas—sales contracts, product marketing agreements, business associate agreements, consulting arrangements, and select international matters. Participate in meetings with business group clients, attorneys, outside counsel, and opposing counsel. Perform basic legal research and prepare memoranda on diverse areas of law. Prepare, facilitate, and administer letters, emails, and other documents, ensuring accurate grammar, spelling, content, and business format for internal and external stakeholders across the Americas. Maintain correspondence, project files, and agreement databases. Assist in developing and implementing programs and processes that ensure compliance with applicable international, federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations. Maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive company information. Manage special projects and perform additional duties as assigned by attorneys. Required Qualifications Associate degree required. Paralegal certificate or equivalent knowledge required. At least three (3) to five (5) years of paralegal or equivalent experience. Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CLM systems. Excellent organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Tact and diplomacy. Ability to shift priorities quickly and adjust work schedule based on workload and demands; flexibility, adaptability, and patience. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Arts or Science degree preferred. Experience in a corporate legal department.
