Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 3-5 Axis CNC Milling Machinist to join our dynamic team in Richmond, VA. In this role, you will be responsible for operating advanced CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components that meet our clients' specifications. Responsibilities- Set up and operate 3-5 axis CNC milling machines according to engineering specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models.
- Perform quality checks on finished products using precision measuring instruments.
- Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineers and team members to improve manufacturing processes.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Document production processes and maintain accurate records.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC machinist, specifically with 3-5 axis milling machines.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and G-code.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
