Business Data Scientist, Platform Journey Analytics and Measurement

Conduct quantitative data analysis to make product and business recommendations, including impact analysis, market and user understanding, strategic analysis, and user behavior.Deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations to multiple levels of stakeholders.Develop, plan, and execute experiments, iteratively build and prototype ideas on the product at scale.Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand their business needs and complete end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering, analysis, ongoing scaled deliverables, and presentations.Develop a comprehensive understanding of Google data structures and metrics, advocating for changes where needed for scaled support.Minimum qualifications:Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Engineering, Sciences, or equivalent practical experience.3 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL), querying databases or statistical analysis, or a relevant PhD degree.Preferred qualifications:4 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL), querying databases or statistical analysis, or a relevant PhD degree.Experience in strategic analysis or operations management support, with experience presenting to executives.Experience in website analysis.Experience in AI platform.Google's leadership team hand-picks thorny business challenges, and members of BizOps work in small teams to find solutions.
