They are responsible for making the function space visually appealing and presenting the menu offering for the event. This includes linen and table setting, food station design, and beverage service. • High school diploma or equivalent • 2-3 years of related F&B and/or hospitality-related experience. Banquet or Catering preferred. • Supervisory experience, skills & abilities • Excellent verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently without direct supervision • Ability to perform basic mathematic calculations • Excellent time management and planning skills • Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments • Ability to maintain close attention to detail • Experience and a thorough understanding of banquet service. • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays • Pay range: $19.00/hr based upon experience PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Ability to walk and move about throughout shift to supervise and assist banquet servers, stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, grasp and perform repetitive motions • Ability to push, pull, lift, carry or otherwise move up to 50 lbs.
