This position will be located in Plymouth, MN and will support the Armament Systems business unit. This is an on-site position.This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.What You’ll Get To Do:Management and execution responsibilities for Program Planning and Scheduling team - a team of planning and scheduling analysts with responsibilities for developing Integrated Master Schedules, schedule metrics, change management, Work Breakdown Structures and schedule visualizations for the Armament Systems business. As a leader, you will develop, maintain and update procedures schedule management specific to the business unit.Develop and lead an organization of Program Planning and Scheduling Analysts to meet program schedule objectivesDevelop and maintain policies, procedures, and training for Program Planning and scheduling teamIdentify, allocate and manage resources including workforce planningSupport Corporate and Sector initiatives in standardization of training, metrics and reportingInterface with customer leadership on contract executionCollaborate with Business Management and Program leadership on the cost/schedule integration and generation of reliable Earned Value and Schedule performance dataFunction as a change agent, creating an environment of trust, compliance, continuous improvement, and learningManage multiple priorities against ambitious timelinesProvide a strategic vision for the organizationEnsure full compliance with corporate policiesAdvise Program Mangers, Control Account Managers and engineering teams on best practices, compliance and Earned Value guidelinesSupport program start-up reviews and other independent reviews as a subject matter expertPerform in a fast paced, frequently changing, and demand driven environmentProblem solving and decision making requiring excellent communication skillsDevelop, mentor and train integration personnel and provide regular performance feedback“Our Leaders at Northrop Grumman live our values daily and encourage our teams to do the same. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related experience; master's degree and 6 years of experience or an additional 4 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.Demonstrated track record and experience in program planning and scheduling and program executionKnowledge of EVMS as applied on major government contractsAt least 2 years of management/leadership experience with either direct reports or cross functional teamsAbility to travel as needed (10% of the time)Preferred Qualifications:Subject Matter Expert (SME) in program planning and scheduling tools (Deltek Open Plan, Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project)Experience with analysis and visualization tools (Acumen Fuse, SSI tool, Kidasa Milestones, Milestones Professional)Experience developing program metrics and driving actions to closeExperience leading a dispersed team in different geographical locationsAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearancePrimary Level Salary Range: $139,800.00 - $209,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
