RN - Medical/Surgical - Float Pool - Travel Contract

We are looking for an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Med/Surg Float Pool at AMC Sheboygan County in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. The facility is a 101-bed hospital, Level IV Trauma Center, and Primary Stroke Center. The Float Pool RN will provide care across multiple Medical/Surgical units and may float to any area of the hospital caring for Med/Surg patients, including ER Holding/Boarding.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
• EPIC experience required
• Experience with chest tubes, stable tracheostomy management, IV skills, ports/central lines, Foley catheters, and feeding tubes
• Knowledge of CPAP, BiPAP, and Airvo
• Must be comfortable floating throughout the hospital to Med/Surg patient care areas

Compensation

Travel:

• Weekly Gross: $2,131 weekly
• Taxable: $864
• Housing/Stipend: $1,267
• OT: $36 hourly

Local:

• W2: $55 hourly
• Taxable: $82.5 hourly

• Days: 1:4-6
• Nights: 1:6
• Shift Times:
• Days: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
• Nights: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
• Call/On-Call: No
• Floating: Required throughout the hospital to areas with Med/Surg patients; ER Holding/Boarding is a likely assignment
