Role Description The Licensed Massage Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based at Young & Bloom Skin Spa in Saratoga Springs, NY. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing professional body and therapeutic massage treatments tailored to client needs, such as relaxation, stress relief, and targeted muscle work. The role involves conducting client consultations, maintaining accurate treatment notes, and recommending appropriate services and products to support client wellness goals. The therapist will collaborate with spa staff to ensure a smooth client experience, uphold cleanliness and safety standards in treatment rooms, and support group bookings or special events as needed. Consistent punctuality, adherence to spa protocols, and commitment to a high level of customer service are essential. Qualifications Current New York State Massage Therapy License in good standing. Skilled in Swedish, deep-tissue, and therapeutic massage techniques, with the ability to customize each treatment to the guest’s individual needs; (lymphatic drainage experience is highly valued). Strong communication and customer-service skills, with a warm, professional approach to guest care. Ability to create a relaxing, supportive environment while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries. Dependable, team-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service. Physical stamina and proper body mechanics to perform multiple treatments safely throughout the day.
