As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver License in Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer at a government transit location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support riders, visitors, and staff with strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transit location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit platforms, stations, parking areas, administrative spaces, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and document security-related concerns, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Work with site contacts, transit personnel, and/or first responders during emergencies, evacuations, and service disruptions while maintaining professional communication and presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as military police, a corrections officer, armed security-related personnel, or a certified law enforcement graduate is required.
• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
