Job Title

RN - Med/Surg/Telemetry

Location

New Hampton, IA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Every third weekend required | Every other holiday required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Med/Surg/Telemetry setting
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and cardiac rhythms
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure positive patient outcomes
• Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact licensure
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in a Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing environment
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry/cardiac monitoring
• Availability to work day shifts, every third weekend, and every other holiday

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification
• Prior experience in a combined Med/Surg/Telemetry unit
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
