Staff Accountant
Real Estate organization in the Inland Empire is looking for a Staff Accountant to be an integral part of the Accounting Team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting the Controller with the day-to-day, monthly and year-end operations of the property accounting department. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to grow their accounting knowledge and skill set while working for a company with a clear and defined vision.
Day to day tasks include:
- Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliations.
- Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual closing process.
- Expense reporting
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting with preparing of financial statements and management reports
- Performing other accounting, financial and/or administrative tasks required from time to time by senior management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business with emphasis in accounting or finance is required; must be from an accredited college or university
- A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in accounting is required
- Must be highly skilled in use of Excel, experience with Yardi is required.
