Cashier Part Time

Location: 7620 E State Route 69, Prescott Valley, Arizona 86314 Phone: View phone number on click.appcast.io Starting Pay: $15.15 per hour This position serves as a member of the store team, ensuring an excellent customer and brand experience while promoting sales for Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) and its affiliated entities. The role involves operating registers, maintaining sales floor standards, and supporting a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system and process all payment types. Ask each customer for cash donations at POS. Determine or verify prices of goods by identifying markings or consulting an on‑site leader. Complete closing procedures as required. Maintain regular and consistent in‑person attendance. Greet customers entering the store and thank those leaving. Follow floorwork and PPM (picture process map) standards to maintain the sales floor. Stock merchandise in the designated areas. Use phone and paging systems to make scheduled announcements. Model Goodwill Core Values – Trust, Collaboration, Engagement, Ownership, and Innovation. Perform other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school education or equivalent experience. Excellent customer service skills. Excellent math skills preferred. Clear verbal and written communication in English. At least 16 years of age. Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable. Proficiency in speaking and reading English.
