Clinical Support CMA/LPN OpportunitySt. Mary's Medical Center seeks a full-time Clinical Support CMA/LPN to work at Scott Orthopedic. The position will maintain a high quality of effectiveness and will provide assistance as necessary to co-workers and patients through an office oriented environment. Candidates should anticipate a high volume of in-person and telephone interaction with patients, employees and co-workers. As such a pleasant personality is essential for this position. Applicants will be expected to maintain a professional demeanor and positively represent the Hospital at all times.Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Accurately and thoroughly document medical visits and procedures as they are being performed by the physician.Answering phones & Making appointmentsGreeting & interacting with patients & customersInitial patient screeningsPulling and filing patient chartsTaking blood pressure & medical historiesAssisting doctorsCalling or faxing prescriptionsGiving injections or drawing bloodTo be considered, candidates must have their active Medical Assistant certification or active WV LPN License. BLS required.
