Line Cooks Wanted

Spring Mill Country Club is seeking multiple line cooks for full-time/part-time hours to join our team. We are a private country club, but our restaurant is open to the public. Our restaurant offers a casual, family-friendly atmosphere and a wide range of specialties and favorites to satisfy various tastes.

Requirements

• Basic written and verbal communication skills
• Organizational skills
• Accuracy and speed in executing tasks
• Ability to work as a team member
• Follow directions and instructions
• A minimum of two years of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking
• Food safety certification is preferred

Responsibilities

• Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies
• Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces
• Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards
• Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the chef
• Maintains cleanliness and complies with food safety requirements by safely handling and ensuring proper storage
• Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift
• Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs

Salary

• Starting at $17 and will vary with experience.
