The Gingerbread House is seeking an experienced and caring Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging classroom environment, ensuring the safety and well-being of our young students, and meeting the requirements of Missouri State Licensing Rules and Regulations. • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the children's needs, interests, and abilities to create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Collaborate with the teaching team to deliver a high standard of quality in all classrooms, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
• Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, sanitation, and safety in the classroom, adhering to Missouri State Licensing Rules and Regulations at all times.
• Ensure the physical and emotional well-being of the children through vigilant supervision, effective space management, and regular emergency procedures practice.
• Establish a healthy and safe classroom environment, upholding the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and security for all children.

1. Must have a warm and supportive attitude towards children and be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma.
2. Able to use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools or controls, talk to and hear voices at many levels. May also be required to kneel, bend, squat, crawl and take frequent walks.
3. Complete a full background check and pass a health screening.
4. The ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
5. Willing to complete infant/child CPR and First Aid training.

• An associate's degree in early childhood education or a related field, with a minimum of 30 credits in ECE, is highly desirable.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration and parent communication.
• 12+ clock hours of continuing education and professional development are preferred.
• Two years of professional childcare experience at a licensed center is highly valued.
