Senior Director, Government Pricing

Vertex Pharmaceuticals seeks a Senior Director to lead government pricing strategy, compliance, and transparency initiatives. This executive role requires oversight of pricing calculations across multiple government programs, cross-functional collaboration, and team leadership within a complex regulatory environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and approve all government pricing calculations, documentation, and compliance across AMP, BP, ASP, and 340B programs
- Lead analytics and scenario planning to evaluate impacts of government program changes on product portfolios
- Support contract development and negotiate operational terms with business partners
- Manage state price transparency reporting and track evolving state regulations
- Lead team development, external audits, and regulatory implementation initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 12+ years pharma/biotech or relevant consulting experience
- 5+ years supervisory or management experience
- Advanced knowledge of FSS, CMS programs, and 340B pricing
- Demonstrated expertise in financial forecasting and GTN impact modeling
- Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with Revitas or Model N systems
Compensation: $232,000 - $348,000 base
