As a Security Officer - Healthcare Organization , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy healthcare location as a Front Desk Security Officer, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, observe activity, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. In this stationary role, you will help address security-related concerns with care, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a team that puts people first and values agile, innovative service.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing visitor passes, and directing guests, patients, and staff in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
• Maintain awareness of front desk activity, document routine operations and/or unusual events, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent observation and reporting.
• Support a professional lobby environment by answering questions, assisting with wayfinding, and following confidentiality expectations related to a healthcare setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
