Location:

• Palo Cedro, CA (Redding area)

Schedule Options:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Seven days on, seven days off
• Day and afternoon shifts available

Responsibilities:

• Conduct order verification to ensure accuracy and safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians in daily operations
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses through direct consultation
• Perform pharmacokinetic evaluations to optimize medication therapy
• Utilize Cerner and Omnicell systems to support pharmacy processes

Qualifications:

• Current California pharmacist license required
• Experience in hospital pharmacy practice, especially in acute care settings
• PGY1 residency training is highly advantageous
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cooperatively with healthcare teams
• Flexibility and a positive attitude toward travel assignments

Additional Details:

• This travel assignment may transition to permanent employment
• The role is a critical backfill following an internal transfer
