A leading 250-bed hospital in Redding, CA is seeking an experienced pharmacist to fill an essential role within their dynamic pharmacy team. This travel opportunity offers the chance to work in a supportive hospital environment equipped with advanced systems such as Cerner and Omnicell.

Schedule options include either four 10-hour shifts per week or a 7-on/7-off rotation, with day or afternoon shifts available. This position offers temporary employment with potential to transition into a permanent role, providing valuable experience and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate medication order verification
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to provide effective pharmaceutical care
• Utilize pharmacokinetics knowledge to optimize patient treatment plans
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current California pharmacist license is required
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience, especially in order verification and staff supervision
• Familiarity with Cerner and Omnicell systems is highly advantageous
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and flexibility
• Postgraduate Year 1 (PGY1) residency training is a plus
• Willingness to travel and work in Northern California
