Technical Recruiter

Requirements You are an outstanding Technical Recruiter who is eager to join the People team at a fast-paced start-up building software that uses natural language processing and large language models to detect fraud and make a difference in the world

• You are enthusiastic when collaborating with hiring managers across multiple teams and you enjoy crafting compelling candidate experiences
• You have strong candidate sourcing abilities, customer-service mentality and exceptional organizational and communication skills
• You are a self-confident, open-minded, and highly positive professional eager to significantly expand your technical recruiting expertise by engaging with bright, talented, and interesting candidates
• At least 4 years of full-cycle, in-house recruiting experience, including 3–5 years specializing in software engineering within fast-paced startup environments and a proven track record of successful offer acceptances
• Proficient in recruiting highly sought-after talent—including data scientists, product managers, and ML engineers—by strategically sourcing via LinkedIn Recruiter, networking events, and targeted campaigns across industry and academia
• Proven ability to communicate a compelling vision in a competitive market, effectively motivating top-tier technical candidates to join and scale within a fast-paced startup environment
• Clearly articulates the learning opportunities and technical benefits of working with our team of deep experts and engaging with our custom tech stack
• Deep comprehension of business objectives and how they directly map to talent acquisition needs
• Proven experience evaluating both technical and non-technical aptitudes in candidates
• Skilled at discerning and understanding candidate motivations for job, career, and company changes
• Experience closing all levels of employees, including senior technical and director-level candidates, and expertly negotiating complex compensation packages
• Ability to manage the candidate feedback and debrief process, proactively driving the hiring process for timeliness while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience
• Professional experience using a modern Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage a full-cycle pipeline; Greenhouse experience is strongly preferred
• Highly organized, self-managed, and able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships with an interdisciplinary team
