About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director to play a pivotal role in scaling its ambitious political innovation platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating the organizational leverage and operating discipline necessary to support the company's growth strategy. This includes leading the leadership team, managing and developing senior leaders, and designing the organization to ensure it can operate effectively at a significantly larger scale. The role demands a strategic and operational leader with a proven track record of driving substantial growth and the ability to translate strategy into operational reality. The Managing Director will work closely with the CEO, serving as a strategic partner and proxy, and will be instrumental in shaping the future of the organization. Applicants for the Managing Director position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' professional experience, with a focus on managing managers and senior leaders in a high-performance environment. The ideal candidate will have a builder's understanding of scale, exceptional judgment, and a deep motivation to work in the democracy space. While not mandatory, experience in political campaigns, advocacy, or other fast-moving mission-driven environments is beneficial. The role requires a leader who can bring the right amount of order to an entrepreneurial setting, balancing rigor and flexibility to support the company's mission. The Managing Director will be at the forefront of the organization's growth, with a core mandate to scale the organization and ensure it is equipped to meet the challenges of the 2028 presidential election.
