Staff Accountant

We’re seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our client’s lean and collaborative finance team. This person will play a key role in supporting daily financial operations, maintaining accurate accounting records, and ensuring a smooth month-end close process as the company and its brands continue to grow. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a lean team environment, and experienced with NetSuite. This role offers a varied day-to-day workload where the candidate’s contributions will have a direct impact on the team’s success. Compensation: Competitive salary in USD Start Date: ASAP What We Offer: Opportunity to join a lean and collaborative finance team Hands-on exposure to the company’s growing consumer brands Opportunity to contribute directly to daily financial operations and month-end close Varied accounting responsibilities within a growing organization Enter and reconcile daily financial transactions and bank accounts Prepare daily cash reports Enter and reconcile credit card transactions Download e-commerce marketplace deposit reports and create journal entries Perform month-end reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and customer liabilities Create intercompany invoices and journal entries Maintain fixed asset and related depreciation schedules Support the month-end close process Assist with sales tax prepayments and filings Assist with other accounting-related tasks and process creation Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field 4+ years of general accounting experience Experience with NetSuite is required Strong knowledge of accounting principles Strong attention to detail Strong proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and basic formulas Comfortable working in a lean, collaborative team environment Ability to handle hands-on accounting responsibilities and a varied workload Experience in e-commerce or DTC consumer retail companies Previous experience working with Bill.com Experience supporting accounting operations in a growing consumer goods environment Experience with tools such as Slack and Adobe Acrobat #J-18808-Ljbffr
