Staff Accountant

Job Title: Staff Accountant Location: Weston, FL (hybrid 2 days) 3-month Contract JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a temporary contractor to support the Revenue Accounting team with revenue recognition analysis, SOX compliance, and process improvement initiatives. This individual will assist with documenting and evaluating revenue-related controls, supporting audit and compliance activities, and contributing to special projects involving ASC 606 revenue recognition. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of revenue accounting principles, internal controls, and financial reporting processes. Assist with SOX compliance initiatives, including process documentation and control evidence gathering. Assist with technical accounting research and documentation related to ASC 606 revenue recognition. Analyze revenue-related data and support special projects related to system, process, and business changes. Assist with ad hoc projects and process improvement efforts. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. 3+ years of accounting or audit experience. Strong understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance. Working knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition guidance. Experience documenting business processes, controls, and accounting conclusions. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
