Staff Accountant

About the Role We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join a dynamic and collaborative team within a rapidly growing organization. This is a high-visibility position where you will work closely with leadership and have the opportunity to make the role your own. What You’ll Do Perform general cost accounting and related duties Prepare monthly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, P&L) Maintain the general ledger and reconcile accounts Manage accounts payable and receivable, including collections Handle bank reconciliations and verify deposits Assist with audits and tax filings Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure accuracy and compliance What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required) Strong knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting principles Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel Experience managing or leading small teams Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Excellent organizational and communication skills Why You’ll Love It Here Competitive salary Health, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off and holidays Collaborative, close-knit team culture Opportunity to influence processes and contribute to growth Work Location: On-site (non‑negotiable) Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
