Cake Decorator | Temp to Hire | Flexible Availability Preferred $14–$15/hour to start | Wayne, PA

A local bakery is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cake Decorator to join their team! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, has an eye for detail, and takes pride in creating beautiful, high-quality baked goods.

A day in the life of a Cake Decorator:

• Apply frosting to Bundt cakes using the bakery's signature decorating technique.
• Create consistent, attractive frosting designs on each cake.
• Inspect cakes for quality and ensure finished products meet bakery standards.
• Maintain appropriate cake inventory and ensure displays are properly stocked.
• Keep the decorating station, tools, and equipment clean and sanitized.
• Monitor and record refrigeration temperatures as required.
• Maintain adequate supplies and communicate inventory needs.
• Work closely with the bakery team to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.

Requirements:

• Must be over the age of 18.
• Previous cake decorating or bakery experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency.
• Comfortable working with food and following food safety guidelines.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, organized, and able to work well as part of a team.
• Must have flexible availability for daytime and weekend shifts.
