Job Description

Hire Up Staffing is seeking an experienced Hollow Metal Fabricator to join our client's growing production team in Central Austin!

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and assemble hollow metal doors, frames, and related components
• Measure, cut, fit, and modify materials according to specifications
• Perform accurate measurements and pass a measuring test using 1/16-inch increments
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely
• Review drawings, specifications, and work instructions to ensure accuracy
• Inspect finished products for quality and consistency
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in metal fabrication, door fabrication, welding, or a related manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong ability to measure accurately and work with precision
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions and specifications
• Physically and mentally fit to perform the requirements of the position
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work well with coworkers
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused
