Permit & Licensing Coordinator

Ace Air Conditioning has been a trusted name in HVAC and electrical services for over 40 years. Our HVAC and Electrical Divisions provide high-quality installation and service for commercial and residential buildings, not just in Central Florida but across the country.

We are seeking a Permit & Licensing Coordinator to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with licensing, permitting, and regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Do:

• Process and track permits —review, prepare, and submit applications for HVAC and Electrical projects.
• Manage company licenses —ensure timely renewals and compliance by keeping business and trade licenses updated in all states where we operate.
• Handle paperwork and coordination —schedule inspections, maintain records, and provide insurance certificates as needed.
• Keep things running smoothly —ensure equipment registration is up to date and communicate with management to keep projects on track.

What We’re Looking For:

• Someone who enjoys working with processes, paperwork, and research .
• Construction experience or similar permitting experience is a plus but not required—we can train the right person!
• Notary Public certification is a bonus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail .
• Proficient in navigating websites , researching information, and completing online forms accurately.
• Clear and professional communication skills —both written and verbal.

Qualifications:

• Construction industry experience preferred.
• Notary Public certification preferred.
• Strong customer service and administrative/clerical skills .
• Proficiency in basic computer operations and office equipment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills .
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
