Location: Panama City, FL
Type: Full-Time/ Permanent
Shift & Schedule: Days
Pay: $105,000 - $125,000 per Year (Based on Experience)
Minimum Rate: $105,000/year
Midpoint Rate: $115,000/year (Typically Aligns with 10 Years of Experience)
Maximum Rate: $125,000/year (Typically Aligns with 15+ Years of Experience)
Sign-On Bonus: Evaluated and Customized on a Case-by-Case Basis (Not Guaranteed)

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Director of Cardiac Care for an exciting Local job in Panama City, FL.

Responsibilities

• Direct the planning, coordination, and daily operations of the cardiac unit to ensure clinical excellence and operational efficiency.
• Develop and manage systems that support seamless patient throughput across the cardiovascular continuum of care.
• Create and implement short-term and long-range strategic plans to achieve service line growth objectives.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives focused on quality outcomes and cost-effective resource utilization.
• Facilitate multidisciplinary patient care conferences for complex cardiac patients.
• Evaluate emerging cardiovascular technologies and recommend service enhancements to executive leadership.
• Oversee approved departmental research projects in accordance with Institutional Review Board (IRB) guidelines.
• Lead recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts to support departmental staffing needs.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Develop and deliver educational programs for staff, patients, and families.
• Supervise, mentor, and support a team of 27 FTEs, including clinical staff and unit supervisors.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (BSN or related healthcare field).
• Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) License, Compact RN License, or APRN License.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or BCLS Instructor Certification required within 30 days of employment.
• Minimum 5+ years of recent acute care RN leadership experience within the last year.
• Experience in a full-time Manager or Director-level leadership role.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading cardiac or cardiovascular service lines.
• Experience with performance improvement, quality management, and operational leadership.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular patient care and healthcare regulations.
• Experience managing departmental budgets, staffing, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive organizational outcomes.
