About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Care Float Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in critical care. License: Valid nursing license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS. Must-Have: - Previous charge experience. - Experience with patient ratios of 2-3. - Proficiency in a required charting system. Description: This position is part of a float pool staff. Staff will be expected to float throughout various units including Emergency Department, Medical Surgical, Telemetry, Stepdown/PCU. Ratios may be up to 1:6 in Med-Surg. Candidate must be flexible with scheduling; no block schedule requests will be accepted. If one major holiday falls during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler must work both holidays. If three major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. It is crucial to have ICU experience. All compliance must be met to start on time. Non-billable hours may apply based on the contract length. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. Scheduling will include weekend coverage; candidates must be available for weekend shifts. Traveler must be compliant with all onboarding requirements. No requests for time off can be made during the orientation week.
