Our client, a national and highly-respected law firm, is seeking to add an established Family Law Partner to their growing firm. A small portable book of business is required, in addition to work that will be provided from the firm.

Job Details

Responsibilities

• 1. Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in all areas of family law, including high net worth divorces, child support, divorce, and custody.
• 2. Develop and implement case strategies, conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, and represent clients in court.
• 3. Manage a robust book of business, ensuring the highest level of client service and satisfaction.
• 4. Work effectively with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff, providing mentorship and guidance as needed.
• 5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in family law, sharing this knowledge with the team to ensure best practice.
• 6. Participate in business development activities, such as networking events and client meetings, to expand the firm's client base and reputation.

Qualifications

• 1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• 2. Must be a licensed attorney in good standing.
• 3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in family law, with a focus on high net worth divorces, child support, divorce, and custody cases.
• 4. Must have a strong book of business, demonstrating the ability to attract and retain clients.
• 5. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to relate to clients on a personal level and communicate complex legal concepts in a clear and understandable way.
• 6. Proven track record of courtroom success, with strong negotiation and litigation skills.
• 7. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
• 8. Strong commitment to ethical legal practice, maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times.
• 9. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, providing leadership and mentorship as needed.
• 10. Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
