You will report to the Manager, Coding Education.As the Senior Coding Educator you will be:Responsible for creating and executing the risk adjustment strategy for each provider groupsAnalyze data and reporting and provides educational sessions with providers aimed at quality of care, documentation and coding improvementsCollaboration with relationship owners and QCS (Quality and Cost Strategy)Monitor and develops strategy in collaboration with Network Performance team and the leaderTailor provider group webinars and discussions based on various MRA topicsCreates compliant PowerPoint Presentations tailored to group strategyUse your skills to make an impactRequired QualificationsAAPC CPC (Certified Professional Coder) Certification3+ years of risk adjustment provider education3+ years of medical record review knowledgeMedicare Risk Adjustment knowledgeFamiliar with coding guidelines (i.e. ICD-9/ICD-10)Experience analyzing data to guide process improvementsExcel (formulas, pivot tables)Proficient at PowerPoint with experience presenting at multiple levels of leadershipPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degreeCertified Risk Coder (CRC)Power BI knowledgeMedical coder/billing experienceAdditional InformationThe hours will be CST or EST.LI-LM1Work at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$71,100 - $97,800 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
