The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Delta Township that are seeking skilled Quoting Specialists. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely quotes for custom and standard products.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production to gather necessary information for quotes.
• Analyze customer specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to determine project scope and requirements.
• Utilize ERP systems and other software to generate cost estimates and pricing.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with customers to secure profitable orders.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of quotes, pricing, and customer information.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quoting efficiency and accuracy.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in a quoting or estimating role within the manufacturing industry.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and quoting software.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills for accurate cost calculations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for internal and external collaboration.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related technical field preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP/CRM systems specific to manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Salesforce).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and quote generation.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and terminology (e.g., machining, fabrication, assembly).
• Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings or blueprints.
• Strong negotiation skills for engaging with suppliers or customers.
