Med-Surg Registered Nurse (Travel) – 20-bed Med-Surg unit for adults and geriatrics in Saratoga Springs, NY. Start date: 08/24/2026 for a Weeks travel assignment on a 3x12 Nights schedule. Weekly pay: $2,038 to $2,179 per week. Orientation provided: 36 hours. This is a hospital setting with a requirement to float within the facility as needed. Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to adult and geriatric med-surg patients, including assessment, monitoring, and timely escalation of clinical changes.
- Administer medications and intravenous therapies, manage IV access, and perform blood product administration as ordered.
- Conduct wound care, wound Vac management, feeding tube care, and stoma care as clinically indicated.
- Support IV management (peripheral and central line care) and participate in phlebotomy; document care accurately in the charting system per unit policy.
- Monitor EKGs where required, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (physicians, case managers, rehab), and contribute to care planning and discharge planning.
- Adhere to unit patient ratios (5:1 days, 5:1 nights, 5:1 weekends), participate in on-call and floating as needed, and maintain patient safety and quality standards.

Requirements
- Active NY RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of acute hospital nursing experience
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Ability to float within the hospital as needed; weekend coverage required
- COVID-19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine status unknown
- Relias EKG exam completed within 72 hours after signing (high pass standards)
