Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab/EP. This role involves providing specialized cardiac care, supporting procedures, and ensuring patient safety during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Administer sedation, circulate, and document throughout cardiac and EP procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond swiftly to any adverse events during interventions.
• Ensure compliance with all certification and licensure requirements, including BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to prepare and maintain procedure rooms and equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and other electronic health records systems.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, infection control standards, and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid CA RN license with Nursys verification within the last 2 weeks.
• Obtain and maintain BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through AHA or ARC.
• Have at least 2 years of recent experience in a cardiac or EP setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC electronic health records.
• Capable of working 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Comply with local and travel submission rules, including documentation and reference checks.
