Registered Nurse - Endoscopy/GI

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Endoscopy/GI Registered Nurse to provide patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing services and supporting endoscopic procedures.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer patient care and monitor vital signs during endoscopic procedures.
  
  
• 
  Prepare patients for examinations, ensuring proper sedation and safety protocols.
  
  
• 
  Assist physicians during procedures by providing instruments and managing patient comfort.
  
  
• 
  Document patient information, procedures, and outcomes accurately in electronic medical records.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to infection control standards and maintain a sterile environment.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid California RN license with uploaded Nursys verification within the last 2 weeks.
  
  
• 
  Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from AHA or ARC.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience, preferably in endoscopy or GI nursing.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work call shifts including weekdays and weekends, with flexibility for 8-week call schedules.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong clinical skills in patient assessment and procedural support.
  
  
• 
  Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including work history verification and timely submission of documentation.
