Work Environment

This Full-Time position primarily involves providing therapy in a home care setting. You will have the flexibility of traveling to various locations within Ventura and its surrounding areas to meet patients where they are. Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced schedule that allows for work-life harmony.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities by reviewing medical histories, conducting detailed physical assessments, and identifying specific limitations that may affect mobility.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, patient preferences, and rehabilitation goals while continually modifying them as needed to optimize recovery and progress.
• Administer a diverse range of physical therapy treatments, which may include manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise regimens, modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation, and injury prevention strategies tailored to individual patient conditions.
• Educate patients and their families about prescribed exercises, correct body mechanics, and injury prevention measures to promote an active role in their rehabilitation journey.
• Track and document patient progress meticulously, ensuring accurate records of treatment sessions and making adjustments to treatment plans based on evolving patient needs and response to therapy.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other professionals, to facilitate seamless care and comprehensive treatment strategies for patients.
• Inspire and motivate patients by fostering supportive relationships, providing encouragement, and celebrating their achievements throughout the rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits
