Position Summary:

Commún's Mental Health Program provides emotional and mental wellness services across the lifespan through individual, couples, family and group therapy, as well as somatic interventions like EMDR and auricular (ear) acupuncture. Services are currently offered in English, Spanish, and Arabic.

This role provides in-person and community-based therapeutic services to children (ages 6+), adolescents, adults, couples, and families.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic mental health assessments
• Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group psychotherapy
• Develop collaborative, client-centered, and culturally responsive treatment plan
• Facilitate the individual's growth and development with an emphasis on strengths, culture, resiliency, and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to support the growth and development of those we serve.
• Coordinate care with a psychiatric provider.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation consistent with Commún standards.
• Participate in team meetings, training, and supervision
• Manage schedules effectively to maximize client access to care
• Maintain a trauma informed environment of wellbeing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field from an accredited institution
• Bilingual: English and Spanish
• Strong clinical judgement and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to ethical practices and professional growth
• Knowledge of diagnostic methods and models of psychotherapy
• Understanding of ethical principles and professional standards
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and communication platforms
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends
• Ability to pass a background check due to work with children, adolescents, and families

Preferred Qualifications:

• Three or more years practicing as a licensed therapist
• Licensed LPC, LMFT or LCSW
• Experience working with diverse populations
• Group therapy experience
• EMDR/somatic modalities
